D'Erfahrung, die ich mit FilmFix gmacht han, isch perfekt gsi. Ich hätt kei besseri Firma finde chönne, der ich di 55-jährig alte 8mm-Filme vo de Rennkarriere vo mim Vater us de früehe 1960er hätt chönne ahvertroue. D'HD-Digitalvideos, wo ich jetzt han, sind unersetzlich und viel besser usgseh, als ich denkt han. Ich han entschide, dr Film z'reinige, s'Bild z'stabilisiere und au di sekundäre Farbkorrektur z'mache, und ich bi so froh, dass ich das gmacht han, es het sich defür glohne. D'Kommunikation mit em Nathaniel und de Laura isch super gsi, mit de Laura z'rede isch gsi wie mit ere Fründin z'rede, wo ich scho seit Johr kenne, und si hend mir sehr gholfe bi allne Froge, wo ich gha han. Ich werde mini Erfahrung mit FilmFix mit mine Fründe teile und hoffe, dass ich no meh alte Filme finde, wo ich chönnt zum Umwandle schicke. I am the technical expert with a degree in motion picture and photography, from Brooks Institute, Santa Barbara, CA.
First, your 8mm film will be inspected and carefully cleaned. Then, I'll convert it — from start to finish. These days, most all our customers request that digital files be delivered onto a hard drive or USB stick. However, we can put your transfer on a DVD or Blu-ray disc, if you really prefer that.
While staying local is nice, sometimes it's in your best interest to expand further and find the professional experts who specialize in this sort of transfer. Transferring 8mm film -- the right way -- is highly technical and it requires specialized, pricey equipment.
