Hoi Laura und Nathaniel, Ich wott euch nur schnell säge, dass ich d Kopie vo de Super8-Film, wo ihr mir umgwandlet hend, an alli mini Schiffsfründe gschickt ha. Ich ha ene gseit, es tue mer leid, dass es 45 Jahr bruucht het, bis ich die Aufgabe ändlig fertig bracht ha, aber si hend alli gmeint: "Es het sich glohnt zum warte". Si hend es richtig gnosse, ihri Kreuzfahrt vo 1971 wieder z'gseh. Merci vielmal für d Film-Umwandlig......si hend würklich Erinnerige zruckbracht, und mini Sohn mit eim wieder z'gseh, wo er erst einsi gsii isch, und jetzt isch er scho in sine 40er. Wow....."Unbezahlbar"! Ich bi würklich beidrueckt gsi vo em Service, wo ich vo Filmfix becho ha, seit em erschte Tag, wo ich euch kontaktiert ha. Ich han würkli denkt, es wär schwierig gsi, die Filmi umzwandle, drum han ich's immer wieder ufgschobe. So froh, dass ich euch zwei im Internet gfunde ha. No einisch Merci, Laura und Nathaniel. First, your 8mm film will be inspected and carefully cleaned. Then, I'll convert it — from start to finish. These days, most all our customers request that digital files be delivered onto a hard drive or USB stick. However, we can put your transfer on a DVD or Blu-ray disc, if you really prefer that.
While staying local is nice, sometimes it's in your best interest to expand further and find the professional experts who specialize in this sort of transfer. Transferring 8mm film -- the right way -- is highly technical and it requires specialized, pricey equipment.
