Dear Mr. Courtens, Today, the third DVD shipment of the copied Super8 silent films arrived. Our family is very impressed with the image quality of your copies. It seems to me that the images from the DVD are even more beautiful than the projection on a screen, where the flickering and clattering of the projector are unavoidable. I have copied all the films onto my computer for further processing. With computer technology, I will add text titles, subtitles, as well as sound or background music. Where necessary, I will also make edits, as I now have unlimited possibilities. I can only recommend your work and hope that you can continue to delight many hobby filmmakers by allowing them to watch their films on TV without flickering. First, your 8mm film will be inspected and carefully cleaned. Then, I'll convert it — from start to finish. These days, most all our customers request that digital files be delivered onto a hard drive or USB stick. However, we can put your transfer on a DVD or Blu-ray disc, if you really prefer that.
