My parents asked me to have our 8mm family movies from the early 60's transferred to DVD so copies could be given to my brothers and sister. Since this is something we don't do often, I searched through the internet to compare prices, customer comments, and delivery schedules. I chose filmfix based on their professional looking website and the fact that I couldn't find any negative comments at all.
The process was very easy and the promised DVDs were returned sooner than I expected. My parents were very pleased with the results and I was glad to see the previously jerky movies with the noisey projector replaced by a smooth playing and quiet DVD.
You can find lower cost transfer companies, but for a once-in-a-lifetime transfer process, why take a chance?
